I am loving the new season's trend for worn in, work boots. I kept thinking that I wanted to find some and then this morning when it was pouring and with my shoe rack still filled with sandals, I remembered that somewhere at the back of my wardrobe, was hiding a pair of 10-year-old Dr Martens. So they have been resurrected. What do you think of my battered old boots?
I am wearing: H&M scarf, Marks and Spencer boyfriend cardigan, New Look tunic, Topshop leggings, Dorothy Perkins cocktail ring, River Island chains and Urban Outfitters pendant.
In fact, this outfit was inspired by this post on Street Style: Pics by Polka Dot. I love this girl's style in the photo.
If you want to get in on the trend too and fancy some tried and tested old boots, check out these traditional Dr Marten boots:
I, personally, am sorely tempted by this pair of dusky pink boots, which add a little femininity to a very masculine trend and which also happen to be on sale at the moment:
Or, if the pink aren't quite your thing, why not instead go for the grey?
Will you be rocking the trend this season?
