If it was a 30 day wait I may be persuaded but to wait until September is too much time not enjoying the Sandy Bridge iMac.
Like I said, I'm just waiting for the WWDC announcement before I take any further action. If Apple says a July release, I might wait. If they say September, I'll have to freeze myself like Cartman.
I should also mention that any decision I make will also depend on the price. If Lion is $129, I'll be persuaded to wait. If it is substantially less (say around $29-$49), I'll definitely buy the iMac sooner than later.

I know what I'm suggesting is a little trivial, but I think it's unnecessary. I think a solution to this could be: instead of adding repeated question marks, add the "?" icon in front of a post. This could be a more elegant, less annoying and more effective solution to getting your question answered.
Thank you for your tolerance,

If it really just is a link the press and hold the icon untill it starts shaking and the press the "X" on the corner. If that works be happy if not pay for a new ipad.

Also, keep in mind that many people report the VGA output as looking "washed out." I know that I did have that problem when I was using the official VGA cable, so I switched back to component.
I would suggest springing for the elite.

If you have a couple of cases, why is this phone so scratched up in 2 weeks time? It looks like you put it in your pocket with keys and $3.00 in change?
The back of it? Ever think mayyyybe that's the reason I BOUGHT the cases? That was keys, and the front of the iPhone is flawless thank you very much. Go crap somewhere else.

Sorry, if this thread seems repetitive with the other case threads out there, but I thought my question deserved a separate thread because I am asking specifically about SwitchEasy cases.
I have just ordered a Verizon iPhone 4 and am trying to choose between the SwitchEasy CapsuleRebel, TRIM, and Vulcan cases:
CapsuleRebel: http://www.switcheasy.com/products/CapsuleRebel_iPhone4/CapsuleRebel_iPhone4.php
TRIM: http://www.switcheasy.com/products/TRIM/TRIM.php
Vulcan: http://www.switcheasy.com/products/Vulcan_iPhone4/
I have a RebelTouch for my 2nd generation iPod Touch and I like it a log, except that it doesn't fit perfectly. It protects my iPod, which I drop all the time. I expect that I will drop my iPhone and so will need to have it adequately protected, especially because it has glass on both the front and the back.
Unfortunately SwitchEasy does not provide dimensions, but I would like it to be as thin as possible while still fully protecting the phone.
Does anyone have experience with any of these cases and have any suggestions?
I know that the volume buttons are in a slightly different location than the AT&T iPhone and so am wondering how this works with the cases, as they are designed for both phones. Do the cases line up exactly as they should?
Also, if it is easy to take on and off without damaging the phone or the case that is a plus as I plan to run with my iPhone and will probably need to move it between the case and a running armband.
Any suggestions are appreciated. Thanks.

I have been a PC user for basicly my entire life, but I have never exactly been happy with it. The thing would crash, have the BSoD, but that is not really why i switched.
Basicly I got tired of the Windows Operating System, Bill Gates, and the millions of PC Viruses. I needed a notebook for college in the fall, and I picked up a 17" PowerBook G4 because it suites all of my needs and it replaces the need for a desktop for quite some time. I have enjoyedm first week as a Mac User because everything has worked so well, and I am actually used to all of the windows opened at the same time now! (I never understood before untill I actually spent hours upon hours with the thing)
I have now become addicted to iTunes and have puchased 68 songs in my first week. :D Another reason why I wanted the Mac is because of Final Cut Pro. I love watching and making movies so I felt that the Mac would be the best thing for me... The last movie I made was on my Pentium 4 box and I nearly threw it out of the window because it was so evil... Hopefully the Mac is more kind. I have not started to edit video on my Mac yet, but that is because I have not had the time.
I like my "little" 17" PowerBook because it works great and everyone I have shown it off to has been really amazed by it.

ahahah yah i know im late :D Its pretty rad though. For a 5 year old game, I am way impressed. Im only level 2, a sorcerer, and I am on my second side quest. I just made these villagers who were invisible, visible again. Way fun. I like it, and this is why I love rpg's. The world is indeed vast.
Okay, so on a side note, does anyone know if there is going to be another Elder scrolls game on 360 any time soon?

One is a desktop, the other is an ultraportable.
If you need a portable computer, get the Air. If not, the iMac is a far better value. It's pretty simple.:o

use a lightly damp paper towel. then wipe it with a dry paper towel. thats all you need.
A paper towel can scratch the display. Use a micro-fiber or soft cotton cloth instead.

Apple replaced the MBP with a new 2.4Ghz MacBook Pro.

Any of the new iMacs are more than enough. If you look at the top end card they put in the MBP its the same 6750M in the low end iMac. The only difference is the low end iMac has 1/2 the VRAM.
And that is not to put the MBPs down. The 15"ers will serve you well too. The major factors in my mind are, portability vs. extra speed, and ease of repairs. The iMacs are faster and offer more bang for the buck but if the internal HD dies its a PITA to replace yourself. OTOH the MBPs provide less value but replacing an internal drive is just a screwdriver and torxdriver away.

I running 10.2.8 on flat panel iMac.
I am using latest iTunes.
I recorded streaming music with
"wiretap" software and then
had iTunes convert it to AAC.
The iTunes will NOT burn to CD.
Because it was orignially internet
radio Apple tech support will not
help. I get the error message that these files cannot be burned on CD.
I followed all instructions from Apple
web support and set preferences
on iTunes per tech support.
Anyone have an answer???

ok so i tried the stuff
wasnt sure what the "re pairing" was, i was guess it was having it connected to the unit and restarting etc...
none of that worked.
i then decided to try to downgrade to 3.1.2 and that doesnt work either.
i am not working with a jailbroken ipod.
how do i downgrade to 3.1.2.... i have followed directions from another thread which i couldnt get to work. when i try it says the device isnt eligible for the requested build
