To further mark one year of FBFF this week we are going to answer the same set of questions that Katy asked this time last year. I didn't sign up for FBFF until it was almost four months old* so I am particularly pleased to be able to answer these questions, for me for the first time:
1. Which celebrity (celebrities) do you look to for fashion inspiration?
This changes every week! It completely depends on the latest cover girl on the latest magazine I have bought, or the latest film I've seen at the cinema or have been playing continuously in my DVD player, or maybe a musician or artist who I am currently listening to, or someone whose style has just caught my eye. My weekly Style Icons series demonstrates just how many celebrities inspire me. But right now? A bit of Eva Green gothic chic, a bit of Nicole Richie's LA surfer look, a bit of French inspiration from Audrey Tautou and Clémence Poésy with a final pinch of retro influence from Jean Seberg and Audrey Hepburn. And many more who I could care to mention but I won't bore you!
2. When it comes to your own personal style, what inspires you?
Bloggers. Mainly. Street Style inspires me on a daily basis, whether from The Sartoralist, Garance Doré, FaceHunter and StockholmStreetStyle. I think I've said it before and I'll say it again, I find bloggers' style more accessible than fashion magazines which promote high end fashion from the catwalk. Many bloggers tend to demonstrate a wonderful and creative sense of style using budget and high street pieces.
3. How do you hope to inspire your readers?
I hope to inspire in my readers the notion that it is not necessary to spend a fortune to look good. Over the past year I have come to the conclusion that, unless I really can't help it, I never intend to spend full price for any item. Looking back over the purchases I have made in recent months, this intention has been realised. I hope that this can help all of you to also be bargainista stylistas!
4. Outside the realm of fashion who/what inspires you?
Difficult one to answer. Hmm.. I am inspired by the people in my life, by my mother, my sister, my grandmother - all of whom are courageous in their own ways. The sea or any stretch or expanse of water is inspiring to me - not necessarily the water itself but the feeling I get when sitting beside it.

5. And since Idol is ending… Which songs inspire you?
Oh no, this is the worst question I could have been asked as the boyf always tells me what terrible taste in music I have! Right now I love a retro tune that I can dance to as I get ready to go out! Something like, The Monkees' I'm a Believer:
