Mary Katrantzou inspiration came from the highly stylized seventies photography of Helmut Newton and Guy Bourdin. It occurred to her that the interiors in the pictures were just as important as the models. "With this collection, I wanted to put the room on the woman, rather than the woman in the room," Katrantzou
Look closely and you'll see window and dining tables and chandeliers gracing the dresses worn by the models.
Van der Ham's collection gave a new twist to an old concept: patchwork. His collages of cloth as times looked a little unclear but after consideration, they actually look fresh. Not an easy feat.
