Another fashion fate moment:
As a short* girl who finds high heels such a pain to walk in, wedges are a gift from fashion heaven. Near the end of last year, I finally found a pair of wedges to my taste. But having worn them day in, day out for the past few months, they need to be re-heeled but as "my" cobbler is a bit of a trek from home I haven't had time to go get them done. So to save them from any permanent damage, I realised I needed a second pair of wedge boots. And then I found them. Before Christmas I spotted these black leather wedge boots from Asos but was all spent out so waited till they went into the sale. Last week I could wait no longer and gave in and bought them. They arrived today. However, the boyf vehemently dislikes wedges. In fact I'm not even sure it would be too strong to say that he positively hates wedges. So as I strutted around the living room in my new boots, he turned up his nose! Nice! Then I switched on the laptop, fired it up and decided to do a little daily blog reading. I immediately hit upon the link to Garance Doré's blog and there, as if by fate, was a post she had written about things that the men in your life dislike whilst your girlfriends like them.
So, I am asking you, what do you think of these wedges?
Do you have pieces in your wardrobe that your boyfriend/husband/whoever doesn't like?
