Terry Richardson and Friends

Terry Richardson, the photographer, has a fantastic blog which is one of my favourite sites at the moment.

He photographs his sitters and the people he meets in a fun and energetic way, with either an enthusiastic thumbs up or pretending to be the person he is featured with and them vice versa.

My personal favourites are Kate Moss, Lily Donaldson and Freja Beha Erichsen shots.

There is Only One Kate Moss in London

I couldn't agree more! Kate Moss featured in this Agent Provocator bridal collection a couple of years ago.

New boots and other stuff

As a young whippersnapper (That Was My Age?), I never liked having to wear new shoes. Gleaming white trainers were scraped along the tarmac as I circled the tennis courts on my bike, determined to take the sheen off before home-time. So, aside from the serious Keith Richards-meets-Kate-Moss-backstage-at-a-festival vibe, the lived-in feel of these navy suede boots appeals to my inner teenager. That's Not My Age loves a bloke-ish boot - the perfect accompaniment to my signature, dressed down, jeans and t-shirt-look, who knows I may even let rock chickery rear its messy head and add a leopard print scarf:

The slinky top adds a grown-up spin but my teenage self quite likes this old school t-shirt too:

Kate Moss and Naomi Campbell Photoshoot

Wow! I recently came across these old shots of
Kate Moss and Naomi Campbell, aren't they great!?
Both Kate and Naomi look so young, fresh and at ease.
Enjoy.

Travel in Style

As I was walking to Columbia Road Market this Sunday,
I caught sight of this old taxi.
Isn't it amazing, just look at the Cuban flags on the hubcaps!
Forget Kate Moss and Stephen Fry driving their taxis,
this is the only way to travel in style.

Kate Moss Designs Jewellery Collection for Topshop

Kate Moss has designed her first jewellery collection for Topshop. The collection, which includes on-trend seventies inspired jewellery from Kate’s personal collection, will hit stores from 2 November.

Known for her love of vintage costume jewellery, the highlights of Kate Moss’ collection include a striking cocktail ring with Swarovski stones and oxidised metal. If the success of her clothing collaborations with Topshop is anything to go by this will be a sell-out.

The festival season has begun!

The festival season has officially kicked off with Isle of White last weekend, and what a start it’s had with amazing performances from The Strokes, Florence and the Machine, Jay-Z and a stunning set from Paul McCartney who closed the festival.

So with Glastonbury, V Festival, Reading and Leeds, Lovebox, Field Day, Bestival and many more still to come, the big question is what are the essential things to take to a festival? Well, stop your worrying, here they are:

o Wellies – never leave without a pair, gladiators in the mud and a trip to toilet just ain’t going to cut it.

o Long socks – practical, to stop any rubbing from wellies, but also warm and the epitome of festival chic.

o Oversized sunglasses – to hide a multitude of sins from the night before

o Fedora/Panama hat – perfect for the sun or to cover from the formidable English showers. Channel that inner boho. I’m loving Pachacuti for the perfect Panama.

o Denim cut-offs – Effortlessly cool and if you can’t rock them at a festival when can you!? I’m getting my holiday skin at the ready in preparation first though...

o Long-lasting make-up and nail varnish – As let’s be honest, I have every intention of taking my make-up off and re-applying it and my nail varnish when necessary but when I collapse in the early hours high on Florence et al it may not happen. Honesty is the best possible.

o Hairband – A weekend without straighteners will take its toll, and that’s not even going into hat hair...

o Glitter/bright lipgloss – If you can’t experiment with glitter, fake lashes and neon pink lipgloss at a festival, when can you?
