Hair and Beauty at Erdem, London Fashion Week A/W 11
Hair and beauty are key to the catwalk looks at London Fashion Week. One name never to disappoint in this category is Erdem.
From last year’s romantic ballet plait and golden glow make-up to this year’s fish tail plait and smoky eyes, Erdem is always one of my favourite inspirations!
London Fashion Week Highlights
I attended London Fashion Week this year and it is the home of the young, daring, and exciting designer, and we saw that with neon brights from Christopher Kane, a seventies retro collection from House of Holland and an interior inspired show from Mary Katrantzou.

It’s hard to pick my favourite show of the week but amongst my highlights were Mary Katrantzou’s lampshade skirt, Holly Fulton’s geometric prints, ISSA’s jewel colours, Julien Macdonald’s super-sexy sheer dresses and Erdem’s incredible al fresco show space, making it a fantastic week!

Globe Trotter

Mr & Mrs That's Not My Age have gone on holiday. Sadly we won't be carrying handmade luggage from luxury brand, Globe-Trotter, we'll be using an ancient Samsonite suitcase with a hole in the bottom. It's only a matter of time before I look out of an aircraft window and see my tatty old underwear strewn across the runway. Not a problem Queen Elizabeth II had on her honeymoon or Sir Edmund Hilary climbing Mount Everest - both had classic Globe-Trotter cases, and someone to carry them. This limited edition collection in easy-to-spot, taxi cab yellow is designed by the talented young Erdem Moralioglu.
Normal service will resume shortly.
Countdown to London Fashion Week

London Fashion Week, 20 – 25 February, is famous for its thought provocative, edgy and experimental nature, and hopefully this one will continue the trend.

I will particularly be looking forward to seeing the creations of Erdem, PPQ and Luella, and also eager to see what the reinvention of Jaeger London has to offer. Which designers are you getting excited about?
